As one of two Chief Inspectors for neighbourhood policing within Cambridgeshire, I lead the neighbourhood teams across the north of the county (Peterborough and Fenland), overseeing six Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) and two Neighbourhood Support Teams (NSTs).

My Neighbourhood Policing Teams are split with four covering Peterborough, led by two inspectors, and two teams within Fenland which are led by one inspector. Each individual team has a dedicated sergeant, police constables and police community support officers (PCSOs), who are focused on tackling crime, anti-social behaviour and the problems in your area. We work in partnership with local authorities, partner agencies and residents to build stronger, safer communities.

The two Neighbourhood Support Teams consist of a sergeant and PCs, led by an inspector, and primarily focus on tackling county lines and organised crime groups, as well as a wide range of other things to support general neighbourhood policing.

My 18-year policing career started in Peterborough as a response officer before I was promoted to sergeant where I remained in response policing for a short while before moving into force-wide specialist roles. Much of my time was spent on frontline policing in Peterborough and in the Fens, dealing with all manner of calls for service which has put me in good stead to understand and appreciate the challenges in policing these areas, and the responsibility to support the many diverse communities we have.

My experience of policing has taught me that putting the right officers in the right place is key, whilst making sure we are visible, approachable, task-focussed and determined in tackling crime and disorder. My team and I are focused on delivering this through proactive, intelligence-led policing that is rooted in engagement.

I am proud to lead neighbourhood policing in the north, my teams and I are committed to "creating a safer Cambridgeshire" with neighbourhood policing at the heart of everything we do.

I am the neighbourhood policing inspector with geographical responsibility for Peterborough City Centre and the Eastern area of the city (all PE1). I oversee two teams which each consist of a sergeant, police constables (PCs) and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), who are committed to identifying and tackling longer term issues. This is achieved through regular engagement with the communities that we serve, ensuring we are addressing issues that impact safety or challenges facing our community.

We do this in partnership with several key stakeholders to ensure we adopt a joint approach to problem solving to bring about lasting change. I am passionate about working with the community to deal with concerns that matter most to them, and welcome the opportunity for engagement.
I have served within Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2006 and have extensive experience of working within Peterborough. After initially working within response policing, I moved to neighbourhood policing as a PC in 2012. I have served in all geographical areas across the wider city, as well as in proactive teams targeting serious and organised crime. I have established problem solving work in these areas including an intervention for youth violence at football games which has been shared as best practice nationally.

As an additional responsibility I am a Public Order commander for our Public Support Unit which is an additional responsibility for officers who are trained to respond to a wide range of events, including both pre-planned and spontaneous incidents. This could mean policing football matches, dealing with peaceful protests, or being called for mutual aid for much larger events working alongside other forces across the country.

I have been with Cambridgeshire Constabulary for 17 years, having first worked as a police community support officer (PCSO) covering the Ortons in Peterborough for my first four years. I loved this role and am really excited to be returning to neighbourhood policing after so long.

Since then, I have mostly worked in our investigations department, spending six years as a detective constable in the north and south of the county, investigating serious crime resulting in obtaining prison sentences totalling more than 50 years. After being promoted to detective sergeant, I covered Peterborough and Fenland areas, investigating serious crime and most recently, lower level 'volume' crime.

I'm really looking forward to getting started leading our east Peterborough neighbourhood team. I'm keen to make a noticeable impact on problems that matter to the communities here and make the absolute best use of the resources we have for this crucial work.

Please come and say hello to me and the officers that you'll see out and about and tell us how we can help you.

I am the neighbourhood officer for the Dogsthorpe ward.

I have been a police officer since 2014 when I joined the Metropolitan Police in London before transferring to Cambridgeshire in 2019. I have worked within Peterborough’s eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team for the past three-and-a-half years and am currently the dedicated officer for Dogsthorpe.

My role is very varied and involves targeted activity and problem solving, as well as engaging with the local community and listening to their concerns around things such as anti-social behaviour (ASB), drugs and street drinking. I assist in investigating crime and tackling criminality by targeting high-harm offenders operating in our area.

I personally take ownership of the ongoing issues in Dogsthorpe as the local officer and will continue to do so moving forward.

I have worked in several different departments in my 11-year policing career so far, but this has always been in frontline roles. In addition to my day-to-day role, I am also trained in public order policing and protest liaison which I have done for more than seven years.

I am the neighbourhood officer for the Eastgate ward.

I have been a PC with Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2018 and have been on the eastern sector Neighbourhood Policing Team since May 2024.

My role is about patrolling and being present in the Eastgate area where I engage with the local community, seek to targeting high-harm offenders and improve public safety based on feedback from members of the public and the local community.

Before joining neighbourhood policing, I worked in investigations and response policing.

I am the neighbourhood officer for the Eastfield ward.

I have been employed by Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2020 when I worked in response policing before moving to Peterborough’s eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team in 2021.

My role is about responding to incidents and reports that affect the community in the greatest way. This includes targeted activity and foot patrols to deter crime and help support the most vulnerable people in our communities.

I am the neighbourhood officer for the Parnwell ward.

I have worked for Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2017 where I started out as a detention officer in custody, before joining response policing in 2018. I then went on to work on an investigations team for a short while before I returned to response and then joined neighbourhood policing in January 2023.

My current role involves being out in the community patrolling, engaging with members of the public and tackling any problems within the area. I enjoy attending schools and other community groups to give an insight into policing and help with educating children on crime, consequences and staying safe. I also work alongside other agencies to problem solve any issues that arise within the community.

I have always enjoyed frontline policing and find it very rewarding, making a difference in people’s lives.

I have been employed as a police officer for eight years, spending the first three years working in a number of roles for Lincolnshire Police. I joined Cambridgeshire Constabulary in October 2020. Since then, I have mainly worked on response policing, apart from seven months I spent working on the Serious Crime Team.

I wanted to work in neighbourhood policing for quite a while so took the opportunity to join when the chance came up. I am so pleased to be working on the Eastern team as the named NPT officer for Welland.

My policing passion is targeting drug supply, weapons offences and road related crime. I have high stop search and intelligence submissions rates, which both have a positive effect on reducing crime and disorder in Peterborough.

I bring lots of skills with me to NPT, including blue light driving, pursuit driving, taser, evidential drug identification and testing, DrugWipe, Stinger and CBRN.

I am the Police Community Support Officer for the Dogsthorpe ward.

I have worked for Cambridgeshire Constabulary for more than 20 years as a PCSO and have predominantly worked in the eastern sector of Peterborough within neighbourhood policing.

I am currently the PCSO for the Dogsthorpe area and have been for several years. You will normally see me cycling around the area, so please stop and say hello and if you need any support, I am always willing to assist.

I can often be found at the Bluebell Community Centre so again pop by if you have any questions or concerns.

I am the Police Community Support Officer for the Eastfield ward.

I have worked as a PCSO for more than ten years covering the eastern area of Peterborough.

In my role I provide a high-visibility presence in our communities, organise meetings with the public so they can have the face-to-face contact with us and deal with anti-social behaviour (ASB). I regularly visit schools and provide talks on different subjects such as online safety, knife crime and ASB.

Prior to becoming a PCSO, I was an enquiry officer at the front desk of Thorpe Wood Police Station for four years.
I am multi-lingual and in addition to English, I also speak Bulgarian and Russian.

I have been employed by Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2003. I was a response officer in the Peterborough and Fenland areas for 17 years before moving to the safer schools team. My role as a safer schools officer is to help, support and guide the students to learn from any poor behaviour and deal with matters within the school environment.
I cover the eastern area of Peterborough secondary schools which includes Thomas Deacon Academy, Jack Hunt, City of Peterborough Academy, St John Fisher, Peterborough College and Greater UTC.

  • Priority:

Using a combination of your feedback and our own data, we have set the below as the things your local neighbourhood policing teams across east of Peterborough will prioritise for April to June 2026:

    - Retail theft and resale of stolen goods
    - Vehicle nuisance and speeding in Dogsthorpe and Eastfield
    - Drug use and drug dealing in Eastgate

    Issued 24 March 2026

    Action taken:

    - Retail theft and resale of stolen goods

Work on this priority has included attending shops in Boongate in response to anti-social behaviour – with youths engaged with and dispersed.

Officers have also attended a local car boot sale where a large quantity of suspected stolen goods, worth thousands of pounds, were seized.

    - Vehicle nuisance and speeding in Dogsthorpe and Eastfield

Officers from the neighbourhood team joined colleagues from Peterborough City Council’s Environmental Health team during the quarter to address ongoing concerns around parking and abandoned vehicles.

During the visit, seven notices were issued to abandoned vehicles, with details passed to the DVLA so they can be removed.

    - Drug use and drug dealing in Eastgate

Senior officers have met with numerous partner agencies to discuss this issue and specific streets in Eastgate. Plans are being made to work with partners to safeguard vulnerable people and tackle cuckooing concerns. Cuckooing is when a vulnerable person’s property is taken over by other people, often to sell drugs.

In addition to this work, patrols by officers from the neighbourhood team have continued.
