Using a combination of your feedback and our own data, we have set the below as the things your local neighbourhood policing teams across east of Peterborough will prioritise for July to September:
1. Nuisance vehicles in Dogsthorpe
2. Anti-social behaviour in Central Park
3. Drug use/dealing in Eastfield
Issued 30 June 2026
1) Nuisance vehicles in Dogsthorpe
This priority is being assessed and work is ongoing. An update will be provided as soon as one is available.
2) Anti-social behaviour in Central Park
Neighbourhood officers seized a car near Central Park following multiple reports it had repeatedly been speeding late at night. Officers patrolled in the area, witnessed the offending and stopped the car, which also didn’t have insurance.
They have completed two “street surgeries” in Central Park this quarter, as well as conducting regular foot patrols to engage with residents living nearby and those using the park.
3) Drug use/dealing in Eastfield
Tackling this issue remains a district priority and we are doing regular foot and vehicle patrols in the area.
A man has recently been arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply and an investigation is ongoing.
A shop linked to drug dealing and anti-social behaviour was closed for three months in early July. The successful application for a Closure Order follows the arrest of three people on suspicion of drug supply offences.
Officers are also working towards an additional closure order for a property in Whitsed Street. They are engaging with residents and working with partners in housing and the council to achieve this.
