We have worked with Ferry Meadows to complete targeted patrols through the summer. Recently, one of our team intercepted an illegal e-bike and we have had several engagements with large groups of young people.
Anti-social behaviour in Hampton
The use of illegal e-bikes (Sur-Rons) has been highlighted as an issue in the Hampton area and we continue to complete targeted patrols. Anti-social use of these bikes is a national issue and remain difficult to take positive action against due to users not wearing helmets and protective clothing. We would like the public to offer any information they have so we can remove these high-powered dangerous vehicles from users and protect the public.
At the time of writing (August 2026’) officers have also recovered eight stolen motorbikes from Hampton.

Anti-social use of illegal e-scooters was identified as a key issue along the bus route. This has been targeted with days of action where a number of e-scooters were seized. Officers have been encouraging owners of e-scooters to keep use to private property and consider alternative transport in public spaces.
