This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
Using a combination of your feedback and our own data, we have set the below as the things your local neighbourhood policing teams across north of Peterborough will prioritise for July - September 2026:
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) in open spaces
Disorder and ASB around licensed premises
Issued 24 June 2026
1) Anti-social behaviour (ASB) in open spaces
We continue to receive reports of anti-social behaviour involving both vehicles and groups of young people in popular outdoor locations, including Ferry Meadows, Eye Green Nature Reserve and Cuckoo's Hollow. These locations attract more visitors during the warmer months, and we will be working with partners to help ensure they remain safe and enjoyable for everyone.
As part of this we have conducted comprehensive data collection and analysis to inform our response and ensure proportionality.
In addition to ongoing work in this area, we will conduct four specific days of action in August and September to combat the issue.
2) Disorder and ASB around licensed premises
Addressing anti-social behaviour and disorder linked to pubs, bars and other licensed venues remains a priority across the northern area of Peterborough. This work supports a wider force focus on keeping people safe during the evening and night-time economy, particularly as increased social activity during the summer can lead to higher demand.
We are continuing our ongoing engagement with licensed premises across northern Peterborough, with involvement of both the licensing officer and neighbourhood team.
Evidential statements have been obtained from landlords and managers of the most affected licensed premises to support criminal proceedings and civil orders.

Speeding and anti-social driving
Issued 30 June 2026
We have seen an increase in reports of speeding and anti-social driving from communities across Peterborough, including both urban and rural areas. Concerns raised by residents include excessive speed, dangerous driving and nuisance vehicle use. We will continue to target these issues through patrols, enforcement activity and engagement with local communities.
Speed checks have been carried out in Werrington, Walton, Paston, Barnack, Pilsgate, Helpston, Bainton, Marholm and Northborough.
Patrols have also been conducted at Werrington skate park, Dukesmead and Walton to combat anti-social behaviour.
Officers have also attended a newly formed community SpeedWatch group in Paston and Walton on Fulbridge Road.
