As one of two Chief Inspectors for neighbourhood policing within Cambridgeshire, I lead the neighbourhood teams across the north of the county (Peterborough and Fenland), overseeing six Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) and two Neighbourhood Support Teams (NSTs).
My Neighbourhood Policing Teams are split with four covering Peterborough, led by two inspectors, and two teams within Fenland which are led by one inspector. Each individual team has a dedicated sergeant, police constables and police community support officers (PCSOs), who are focused on tackling crime, anti-social behaviour and the problems in your area. We work in partnership with local authorities, partner agencies and residents to build stronger, safer communities.
The two Neighbourhood Support Teams consist of a sergeant and PCs, led by an inspector, and primarily focus on tackling county lines and organised crime groups, as well as a wide range of other things to support general neighbourhood policing.
My 18-year policing career started in Peterborough as a response officer before I was promoted to sergeant where I remained in response policing for a short while before moving into force-wide specialist roles. Much of my time was spent on frontline policing in Peterborough and in the Fens, dealing with all manner of calls for service which has put me in good stead to understand and appreciate the challenges in policing these areas, and the responsibility to support the many diverse communities we have.
My experience of policing has taught me that putting the right officers in the right place is key, whilst making sure we are visible, approachable, task-focussed and determined in tackling crime and disorder. My team and I are focused on delivering this through proactive, intelligence-led policing that is rooted in engagement.
I am proud to lead neighbourhood policing in the north, my teams and I are committed to "creating a safer Cambridgeshire" with neighbourhood policing at the heart of everything we do.
I am the neighbourhood policing inspector with geographical responsibility for Peterborough City Centre and the Eastern area of the city (all PE1). I oversee two teams which each consist of a sergeant, police constables (PCs) and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), who are committed to identifying and tackling longer term issues. This is achieved through regular engagement with the communities that we serve, ensuring we are addressing issues that impact safety or challenges facing our community.
We do this in partnership with several key stakeholders to ensure we adopt a joint approach to problem solving to bring about lasting change. I am passionate about working with the community to deal with concerns that matter most to them, and welcome the opportunity for engagement.
I have served within Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2006 and have extensive experience of working within Peterborough. After initially working within response policing, I moved to neighbourhood policing as a PC in 2012. I have served in all geographical areas across the wider city, as well as in proactive teams targeting serious and organised crime. I have established problem solving work in these areas including an intervention for youth violence at football games which has been shared as best practice nationally.
As an additional responsibility I am a Public Order commander for our Public Support Unit which is an additional responsibility for officers who are trained to respond to a wide range of events, including both pre-planned and spontaneous incidents. This could mean policing football matches, dealing with peaceful protests, or being called for mutual aid for much larger events working alongside other forces across the country.
I have served with Cambridgeshire Constabulary for 19 years, with my entire policing career based in Peterborough in frontline roles. I began as a Police Constable in response policing, gaining vital operational experience. After successfully completing the National Investigators Exam, I moved to a Detective Constable role within CID, further broadening my investigative skills.
In 2020, I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and initially undertook a temporary posting with the Neighbourhood Support Team. In January 2021, I assumed my current position as Sergeant for the eastern sector Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) which encompasses diverse and dynamic communities across Millfield, New England, Dogsthorpe, Park Ward, Eastfield, Parnwell, Welland, Eastgate, Fengate, and Boongate.
My team works proactively with partners including multiple teams within Peterborough City Council, local housing associations, and a wide network of community contacts to address local priorities and build trust and confidence within the community. Some of the key projects I have worked on include Alliance – a community led initiative to regenerate areas of Millfield – and tackling child sexual exploitation (CSE) within the city at a neighbourhood policing team level.
My career has predominately been spent in the Fenland area as a PC, before becoming a sergeant and moving to Peterborough towards the end of 2025.
I have mainly worked in response policing – something I enjoyed for five years. I progressed to sergeant and continued working on the front line until being offered a role as the neighbourhood policing team sergeant for Central Peterborough. I jumped at the chance of taking up this role as I have always had a great passion for neighbourhood policing, getting out and about and meeting residents on my patch. I have a great desire to make our communities as safe as possible, and I aim to achieve just that.
I am the neighbourhood officer for the Millfield and Park wards.
I have been employed by Cambridgeshire Constabulary since 2018 and have been in neighbourhood policing since 2023.
The role of a neighbourhood officer falls under a few headings; crime prevention, community engagement, visibility and reassurance, partnership working, intelligence gathering and problem solving. Day to day actions involve patrolling hotspot areas, targeted activity against ongoing issues and engaging with the public to gather intelligence and implement long-term solutions. Neighbourhood policing is a proactive and preventative approach with the aim of creating safer communities.
Prior to joining neighbourhood policing I worked in response, attending immediate grade 999 calls across the city. Trained in the use of a conductive energy device (Taser) and method of entry (MOE), these extra skills support my day-to-day role. Further I have helped raise awareness of sport engagement for young people in Millfield through football and cricket sessions, contributing positively to their physical, mental and social development.

With more than five years of experience in policing, I have spent the last two-and-a-half years specialising in neighbourhood policing. Throughout my career I have developed a passion for the proactive element of policing, particularly in addressing issues reported by the community.
My work primarily focuses on Millfield where I concentrate on tackling drug dealing and drug misuse, which is a highly reported problem.
I believe that effective policing stems from direct engagement with the community and building a strong relationship between residents and the neighbourhood policing officers.

I have had a variety of different jobs in the past, including working at HMP Peterborough for a few years and, before joining neighbourhood policing, I worked as a response police officer.
Alongside my day-to-day role, I am always happy to help with language skills as I am bilingual, with my native language being Polish.
If you see me patrolling out and about, come and say hello.

I have been employed by Cambridgeshire police since 2019 and have been in neighbourhood policing since June 2023.
My role is about effective community engagement, crime prevention and problem solving. To achieve this, I seek to build relationships with a variety of different groups within the community, identify crime trends and work with different agencies.
When on duty I can be found patrolling my area both on foot and in a vehicle and have responsibility for numerous long-term problem-solving projects, engagement with different groups within the community and child sexual exploitation (CSE) prevention.

I started my policing career with Lincolnshire Police in 2017 as a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) before becoming a Police Constable in 2020 and working within response policing in Lincolnshire until I transferred to Cambridgeshire in 2024, where I have been in neighbourhood policing since.
My role is about engaging with the community and identifying issues and concerns that effect individuals and the community as a whole. I work with other agencies to solve problems and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB). I have been employed by Cambridgeshire police since January 2018 where I worked in response policing for about four years before moving into neighbourhood policing where I currently work.
My role is about engaging with members of the public and being a point of contact for the community as they are instrumental in sharing information and intelligence to enable me to carry out my role as a neighbourhoods officer.
My day-to-day role varies from attending community meetings, carrying out targeted patrols or developing intelligence to tackle issues or take to court to get warrants.
I pride myself on my ability to be proactive, having a good eye for faces and names has benefitted me in being able to target and stop people who do the most harm within the community.
I am the Police Community Support Officer for the Millfield and Park wards.
I have been proudly serving with Cambridgeshire Constabulary since February 2007, as a PCSO within Peterborough’s eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team.
My work centres on delivering high-visibility patrols, building strong relationships with residents and community groups, and supporting vulnerable individuals through proactive engagement and partnership-based problem-solving. A core element of my role is fostering trust and cohesion within one of the most diverse areas in Peterborough.
I regularly collaborate with local schools to provide crime prevention education, helping young people understand the consequences of crime and empowering them to make safe, positive life choices.
Fluent in four additional languages, I use my linguistic and cultural understanding to connect meaningfully with communities that can sometimes feel marginalised. This ability to break down barriers has proven invaluable in supporting victims, resolving conflict, and delivering tailored support where it’s needed most.
In 2014, I launched the Peterborough Police Street Soccer Project – a youth engagement programme offering constructive alternatives to steer children away from anti-social behaviour (ASB). What began as a weekly boys’ session has grown into a vibrant, inclusive initiative. In November 2024, I expanded the programme to include girls’ sessions and extended hours, creating a safe and empowering environment for all young people in the area.
My work is driven by a deep belief in fairness, inclusion, and the power of local partnerships to bring about lasting, positive change in our communities.
