The Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP) is a great opportunity for those who have not studied at degree level to be entered onto a two-year programme focused on police skills.
The assessment plan is not academic focused, although there are a range of assessments, and occupational competency is awarded at end of year two.
You will receive a salary of £29,907 upon joining, increasing to £31,164 after your first 12 months

The PCEP requires you to have:
GSCEs English and Maths grade C or 4 and above, or Level 2 functional skills English and Maths.
And
A level 3 qualification, two A-Level passes at Grade E or above, or an equivalent qualification equal to 32 Ucas Points *
Or
At least one year’s experience in a role with comparable skills to policing or academic study (which will be reviewed by an in-force skills panel) in the following fields:
Vulnerability/caring for others/working with communities:
Justice and law enforcement:
Relevant local authority experience which has involved close and sustained working with police:
Emergency services – ambulance, fire
