The family of a man who died in a collision on the A14 have paid tribute to him.
Tantalus St John-Ives, 53, was riding a Suzuki motorbike when it was involved in a collision with a Mercedes lorry parked in a lay-by at about 6.40pm on Wednesday (28 January).
It happened on the eastbound carriageway of the road between junction 38 for the A11 and junction 39 for Kentford.
Tantalus, from Wicken, Ely, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family said: “A loving and devoted stepfather and step-grandfather, a big brother, and a friend to many, Tan was a kind, funny, and hard-working human being who had a huge heart and was endlessly generous with his time, affection, and love.
“He loved deeply and freely, and he will be missed by many. Ride free, Tan, we love you.”
