A convicted domestic abuser has been jailed again for attacking his former partner.
Aaron Diiuorio, 35, punched the victim in the face on the evening of 28 August last year at a property in St Ives after he accused her of stealing his drugs.
She tried to leave the room, but Diiuorio blocked the door and assaulted her again.

Diiuorio was arrested on 17 September but the victim didn’t support police action at the time.
However, on 7 December, Diiuorio turned up at her home in St Ives at about 1.30am and punched her in the face, leaving her with serious facial injuries.
He ran off but was later arrested at a nearby property.
On Monday (8 June), at Peterborough Crown Court, Diiuorio, of Silver Birch Avenue, St Ives, was jailed for two years and five months having pleaded guilty to two counts of actual bodily harm on the first day of his trial.
He was also handed a ten-year restraining order.
Diiuorio had previously been handed a jail sentence for an assault on a different victim in November 2024.
DC Emily South, who investigated, said: “Diiuorio is clearly a violent individual who has learnt nothing from his previous time in prison for domestic violence, so I’m glad he’s been deprived of his liberty again.”
