In honour of #ControlRoomWeek, we are holding a 'Postathon' to demonstrate the reality of the demand the force faces.
We will update this webpage, as well as our Facebook and Instagram accounts, every 30 minutes summarising every incident that has been phoned in on 999 in during the previous half an hour.
Tune in between 4pm and 10pm on 31 October.
It is hoped that this Postathon will provide an insight into the volume, variety and complexity of calls and incidents that staff must be equipped to deal with.
