Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at the Co-op in Linton, near Cambridge, yesterday (24 February).
Police were called to the premises in High Street at about 7.15pm after two men with crowbars threatened staff and forced them to open the tills and safe.
The men stole about £1,000 from the safe and an unknown amount of cash from the tills.
Detective Sergeant Ashley Ryan, who is investigating, said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the staff at the shop. I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage which could assist our investigation.”
