I write in connection with your request for information received on 12th April.  I note you seek access to the following information:

In 2024, how many Fixed Penalties or Prosecutions were issued by your force for:
 
Cycling on a footpath or causeway by the side of any road made or set apart for the use or accommodation of foot passengers
Crossing a stop line when traffic lights are on red
Failing to stop at a stop line on a road junction
Cycling without appropriate lights between sunset and sunrise
Cycling without reflectors between sunset and sunrise
Cycling without legal brakes
Cycling while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
 
Can you also please break these figures down by individual area.

Response - Following enquiries within the Constabulary please see our response below.

In 2024 our system is currently showing 5 tickets have been issued for the offence of Ride a pedal cycle on a road and fail to comply with the indication given by a traffic sign.

We cannot say which traffic sign the rider was not complying with.

All of these tickets were issued in Cambridge.

There are currently no other pedal cycle specific offences for 2024 showing on our system.
