6th March 2025
Our Ref: FOI2025/01224
Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Ref No: FOI2025/01224
I write in connection with your request for information received on 6th February. I note you seek access to the following information:
A) How many equality and diversity posts, uniformed and non-uniformed, are employed in your force?
B) What is the cost of such posts and any necessary direct admin support?
C) How many of these posts are filled by ethnic minority applicants?
D)What is the number and cost of external training bodies and courses for equality and diversity training?
***CLARIFICATION SOUGHT***
In question 1 you ask:
"1 How many equality and diversity posts, uniformed and nonuniformed, are employed in your Police Force?"
The uniformed and non-uniformed posts you refer to in this question, are you in fact asking how many employees are in these posts regardless of whether they are Officers or civilian staff, or does this request solely relate to posts held by Officers ?
Please advise ?
***CLARIFICATION REC'D***
My question does refer to both officers and civilian staff.
