I write in connection with your request for information received on 15th July.  I note you seek access to the following information:

1. How many officers were assaulted while on duty in the past four years, and up to July 2025?
   Please give separate figures for 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and up to July 2025.
   If possible, please break them down by gender of the victim too.
   
   2. How many new officers were employed by this force in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and up to July 2025?
   Please break the stats down per year and gender.

I am required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) to handle all requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any information released in response to a request is regarded as being published and therefore, in the public domain without caveat.
