Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Ref No: FOI2024/06832   

I write in connection with your request for information received on 3rd October.  I note you seek access to the following information:

1. During 2023 and so far in 2024, how many total incidents of social media memes or social media abuse were reported to your force? Please break this down by year and if it was a meme or social media abuse.

2. How many of these incidents resulted in police attending someone's house to speak to them about the meme/social media abuse incident/s or investigate the incident? Please list this down by action taken, ie given a talking to, charged etc.

3. During 2023 and so far in 2024, how many total incidents of burglary were reported to your force? Please break this down by year.

4. How many of these incidents resulted in police attending someone's house to speak to them about the burglary or investigate the incident? Please list this as to whether there was further action taken after the police attended the first time or if that was the end of it after the first visit.

Response - Following enquiries with Cambridgeshire Constabulary please see our response below.

There are no outcomes on incidents, so we have included whether the incident was then crimed or not in response to further action taken for Q2 and Q4.
