I write in connection with your request for information received on 28th October. I note you seek access to the following information:
Between April 2022 and April 2024, how many Code 17 outcomes there were in Cambs police in relation to section 2a stalking charges. For research purposes I want to establish how many stalking prosecutions resulted in no further action because the 6 month time limit for a section 2a stalking charge has expired.
I am required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) to handle all requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any information released in response to a request is regarded as being published and therefore, in the public domain without caveat.

A total of 11 investigations into Sec 2A Stalking offences were closed as OC17 Prosecution Time Limit Expired – 9 in the period 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2023, and 2 in the period 1 April 2023 – 31 March 2024 (based on the date of the disposal).
