Complete this online form to report non-emergency anti-social, careless or reckless driving (a traffic offence) and not a collision or any parking-related offences.

The incident must have happened in the Cambridgeshire area and you must have video evidence of the event. Anti-social or careless driving is a style of driving that puts other road users in danger, such as:

  • careless driving / riding
  • contravening traffic lights.

You will be asked to provide information in a statement form that must be agreed on the form. There may also be the likelihood that you will have to attend court to give evidence and you must agree to give evidence. We will support you through this process.

To complete this form you will need:

  • Details about the day(s) and time(s) of the events

  • Location(s) of the event(s)

  • Descriptions of both the vehicle and driver or persons involved.

  • Full vehicle registration number

Upon completion of the form you will be emailed a copy of the form with a reference number for your records.  We will investigate the information you provide and respond to you via your preferred method of contact should we need to investigate further. If the incident warrants further investigation and prosecution we will contact you to arrange the transfer of the video footage.  Please be aware that not every incident reported to us will be investigated further and any submissions will need to meet a strict criteria in relation to a prosecution under the Road Traffic Act 1988.  All reports are considered by a team of experienced experts in road traffic offences.  Please be aware that by making a submission to the police the reporting person agrees to leave any decisions around prosecution/disposal to the police. We will not enter into discussion around individual submissions made. We will advise you if we are taking no further action, however we are unable to provide full details of the action we’ve taken in relation to individual submissions. If you are contacted to provide footage please note that you will need to provide footage showing two minutes before the incident and two minutes after the incidentPlease note that all fields marked with an * are mandatory.
