Report a crime online

Is it an emergency?  Remember, if someone is in danger and you need immediate support please call 999 now.

Please use the form below to report a non-emergency crime.  It is important to complete as much information as you can, providing specific detail where possible.  You can use this form if:

  • property has been stolen.
  • property has been damaged.
  • a property has been broken into.
  • Please do not use this form if you are reporting a vehicle collision.

Once the form has been submitted all reports will be reviewed by our Crime Bureau and we will respond to you with a crime number within 24 hours.

To complete this form you will need:

  • Details about yourself or the victim of the crime
  • The time and of the crime being reported
  • Details of items or property stolen or damaged (including serial numbers where possible)
  • Details of offenders or witnesses of the crime
  • Information about further evidence that could help our investigation

 

Approximate completion time: 15 minutes.
 
If you want to report a road traffic collision you do not need to complete a crime report.  If you have been involved in a road traffic collision and do not require immediate police attendance please report it online via the road traffic collision form.
