Police.uk supply the official stop and search statistical data for all of England and Wales. On their site, you can view the overall stop and search statistics and charts for Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
You can also view the detailed locations of individual stop and searches that take place in your area, plus the outcome, reason and type of stop.
All of our data and statistics are open to the public for transparency and review.
We are proud to be taking part in the Home Office's Best Use of Stop Search Scheme. The scheme aims to help reduce the overall use of stop and search, deliver more intelligence-led stop and search and improve stop-to-arrest ratios.
More information about what the scheme involves is provided by the College of Policing.
Stop and search data is published on a monthly basis for transparency and accountability and compliance with legislation and policies.
We ensure stop and search is used fairly and effectively to help maintain public confidence by monitoring all stop and search activity.
Within the force we hold our own meetings to ensure we scrutinise stop and searches appropriately.
Our stop and search activity is also overseen by an independent Local Community Scrutiny Group which holds the force account on any stop search issues.
The Local Community Scrutiny Group meets every three months. If you're interested in signing up, please email the scrutiny group
