Live web chat video
The YouTube video shows a live display of the Cambridgeshire Constabulary website and the process for starting a live web chat.
A mouse curser is present and moves across from the centre of the screen to the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Here a green circle with a speech bubble icon is present, representing the force's live web chat service. The curser selects the green circle, which in turn opens a dialogue pop up box for Live Chat.
The pop up box has the text: Welcome to our 101 Live web chat service.
Please enter your name, email address and contact number to get started.
We will only use your email address to send you a copy of this chat session.
Fields are also present for a user to enter their name, email address and a Chat Now button.
When you launch a chat, you will be put through to our team of specialist operators who will be able to assist you.
Your report will be handled in the exact same way as online reports or 101 calls, but can be much faster. Our average response time during the past 6 months (February 2022 - July 2022) was 56 seconds.
All we need from you to get started is your name, email address and contact number.
We would only use your email address to send you a copy of your chat session, should you request it.
