Five men have been charged in connection with a burglary near Cambridge.
Officers were called to Hick’s Lane, in Girton, at about 6.10pm on Friday (10 January) to reports of the burglary, in which jewellery and cash was stolen.
A 38-year-old, of London; a 32-year-old, also of London; a 23-year-old, of no fixed address; a 39-year-old, of no fixed address; and an 18-year-old, of no fixed address, have been charged with two counts of burglary.
The second count relates to a burglary in Ipswich, Suffolk, on 8 January, in which jewellery was stolen.
The men all appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday (13 January) and are due to appear next at Cambridge Crown Court on 10 February.
