A drug dealer who attempted to hide his stash of cocaine from police has been jailed.
Neighbourhood officers were on patrol in Littleport on 14 August when they spotted a Skoda they recognised to be involved with organised crime.
Inside they found driver Fabio Mucaj as well as £900 of cocaine hidden in a sock within a compartment close to the steering wheel.
Officers then searched his home in Waterside, Isleham, and found £2,280 in cash and three pot of cannabis.
At Peterborough Crown Court on Friday (20 September) 31-year-old Mucaj, was sentenced to two years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis, possession of criminal property and driving without insurance
PC James Good, from the Neighbourhood Support Team, said: “Drug dealers like Mucaj are not welcome in Cambridgeshire and we will continue to seek them out and put them before the courts.
“We urge members of the public to report their drug dealing concerns to us.”
