Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash.
Emergency services were called to Longstowe Road, in Longstowe, South Cambridgeshire, at about 6.10pm last night (Tuesday, 22 October).
The rider of a grey and red Yamaha motorcycle, a 19-year-old man from Hardwick, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, suffering from serious injuries.
It is believed no other vehicles were involved.
Sergeant Dan Newton said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen a red and grey motorcycle in the Great Gransden area between 5.45pm and 6.30pm.
“We’re trying to piece together how this young man came to be injured.”
Anyone with information should use incident 404 of 22 October as a reference and report it through the force website.
