Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after an e-scooter rider was left with serious injuries following a collision.
It happened in Maskew Avenue, Peterborough, at about 11.20am on yesterday (30 October).
The e-scooter was near to the Aldi store heading towards the roundabout with Bourges Boulevard when it was in collision with a grey Ford C-Max travelling in the same direction.
The rider, a 57-year-old man from Peterborough, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital and later Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious injuries.
The C-Max driver, a 63-year-old woman, remained at the scene and is assisting police with inquiries.
Sergeant Jamie Cooper said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision to come forward, especially any people walking nearby or those with dashcams which may have captured the build-up to the collision.”
Anyone with information should report it through the force website using reference CC-30102024-0173.
