Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a driver was found dead after his HGV left the A1 and crashed in a field.
It happened on the southbound carriageway, near Water Newton, Peterborough, at about 2.40pm on Friday (1 November).
The driver, Daniel Casariu, 43, from William Street, Luton, was pronounced dead at the scene and no other vehicles were involved.
The road re-opened at about 2.30am (Saturday, 2 November).
Sergeant Mark Atkins said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the HGV just before the collision or has dashcam footage of it.”
Anyone with information or footage should report it through the force website using reference CC-01112024-0319.
Anyone without internet access should report it on 101.
