A woman has died following a collision between Linton and Haverhill on Friday evening (15 March).
Jean Merritt, 86, of Wheatsheaf Way, Linton, was driving a blue Daihatsu Sirion when she was involved in the collision with a blue Nissan Micra near Horseheath.
Emergency services attended and she was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, where she died on Monday, 18 March.
An 85-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the car, is in hospital where she remains in a serious, but stable condition.
