The 17-year-old boy was riding a blue Yamaha along High Street, Barton, near Cambridge, at about 11am yesterday (10 January) when he collided with a lamppost and a fence.
No other vehicles were involved and the motorcyclist, from Comberton, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. He remains in hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
