Police are appealing for witnesses and information after vandals caused damage at a cricket club at about 8pm on Monday, 19 February.
A wooden gate was smashed and a quad bike driven over the cricket pitch and outfield at Whittlesey Cricket Club, Manor Playing Field, Aliwal Road.
PC Gary Stabler said: “This was a shocking act of vandalism to a community facility and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area on Monday night.
“Any CCTV or doorbell footage from the Aliwal Road and Station Road area would also be helpful from that time period.”
Anyone with information or footage should report it through the force website using reference 35/11997/24.
