Officers are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Cambridge left a cyclist with serious injuries.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, was in collision with a blue Honda Accord in Trumpington Road, at the junction with Fen Causeway, at just before 3am on Saturday (14 December).
Emergency services attended and the cyclist was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.
The driver of the car was uninjured and remained at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or believes they saw the vehicles in the build-up to it, should contact a member of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit online quoting incident 58 of 14 December. Alternatively call 101.
