A paedophile has been jailed for sexually abusing a boy over a five-year period more than 40 years ago.
Colin Dean, 58, indecently assaulted the boy between 1980 and 1985 in places in the Cambridgeshire area.
Dean’s offending came to light in July 2021.

On Friday (16 August), at Cambridge Crown Court, Dean, of Orchard Road, Histon, was jailed for four years having been found guilty by a jury at an earlier hearing of four counts of indecent assault on a boy under 14 and four counts of inciting a boy under 14 to commit an act of gross indecency.
Detective Sergeant Mark Williamson said: “Dean took advantage of the child to sexually abuse him so it’s good news he’s been jailed. I would like to thank the victim for his bravery in coming forward and the strength he has shown throughout the investigation and subsequent court case.
"Dean’s conviction is testament to the victim’s courage.”
