A Huntingdon woman has been banned from drinking in the town.
Emma Stringer, 38, of Blaines Court, Huntingdon, was given the 18-month Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 5 April.
The CBO states Stringer must not:
Drink, consume or be in possession of open alcohol containers in the area inside Huntingdon Ring Road, except when inside home address
Attend St Georges Court, Huntingdon for any reason
Enter Iceland Foods in Huntingdon
It follows her latest conviction for failing to comply with a community protection notice by being arrested for drunk and disorderly and being in possession of alcohol in Huntingdon High Street. She pleaded guilty on 5 April and was given a 12-month community order and a 20 day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.
Sergeant Greenham said: “Anti-social behaviour can have a significant negative impact on those living, working and visiting in the areas where it happens. We hope this CBO makes it clear that we will take robust action against those who continually act in a way that is detrimental to our community.”
Members of the public are encouraged to report all incidents of anti-social behaviour online or by calling 101.
