Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault which left a man in hospital with serious injuries.
Officers were called at 2.23am on Sunday (14 April) by the ambulance service with reports of violence on Market Street, Ely.
Police attended, where they found a man unconscious. The man in his 30s was then taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.
A 30-year-old man from Brandon, Suffolk, has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) without intent, and has been bailed to Wednesday, 10 July.
