A man has been charged with being in possession of a knife in Fenland.
Officers were called to an assault in Freedom Bridge, Wisbech, at just after 3pm yesterday (8 March) where a man in his 40s received cuts and bruises to his face.
A 38-year-old man from Sutton Road, Leverington, Wisbech, was arrested and has since been charged with being in possession of a knife in a public place and assault by beating.
He is due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court today.
Anyone with information about someone who carries a knife can report it to police online.
