Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A505 in South Cambridgeshire on Tuesday (March 28).
The incident happened at around 12.35pm on the westbound A505 at Fowlmere when a dark grey Kawasaki ZX1002 motorcycle collided with a HGV travelling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist, 36-year-old man from Royston, died at the scene.
No one else was injured in the collision.
Det Insp Garry Webb, from the Road Policing Unit, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the motorbike as it travelled west in the moments leading up to the incident.
“The motorcyclist was wearing black leathers and had a Union Jack flag band on his helmet.
“Any information, no matter how small, could prove vital in determining what happened.”
