Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a fatal collision on the A1421 Sutton Road near Haddenham.
A red Seat Ibiza heading north from Haddenham towards Witcham Toll was involved in a collision with a blue Kia Sportage heading south at 6.05pm on Friday (28 July).
The driver of the Seat, a 20-year-old man from Doddington, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Kia, a man in his 60s from Haddenham, and his passenger, a woman in her 60s from Haddenham, both suffered life changing injuries and remain in Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Sergeant Duncan Hall, from the BCH Road Policing Unit, said: “A man has sadly lost his life in this collision and my thoughts are with his family and those who have been injured.
“I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the collision or has dashcam footage of either car in the build-up to the collision, as this could greatly our investigation.
“I am particularly interested in hearing from the driver of a tractor which was seen travelling along the road at around that time as they could hold vital information.”
Anyone with information or dashcam footage should tell us about it via 101 or the force website, quoting reference 447 of 28 July.
