Police are investigating the sudden death of a man on a road in Melbourn.
Officers and paramedics were called to Royston Road at about 9.15am this morning (Thursday, 7 December) and found a red Honda CR-V SR had pulled over onto the side of the road.
The driver, a 58-year-old man from Melbourn, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Sergeant Timothy Davies, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “This was a very sad incident and I would like to hear from witnesses and anyone with dashcams who may have passed the Honda.”
Anyone with information or dashcam footage should report it through the force website using reference CC-07122023-0095.
Anyone without internet access should call 101.
