Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a car on the A14.
A white VW Crafter van struck a pedestrian on the westbound carriageway near junction 37 for the A11 yesterday (13 April) at about 5pm.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, was taken to Addenbrookes’ Hospital, in Cambridge, with serious injuries. She remains there today in a stable condition.
The van driver remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries. The A14 and A11 were both closed for a number of hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage should tell us about it through the force website using reference 389 of 13 April.
Anyone without internet access should call 101.
