A woman who was involved in a collision with a car in Great Shelford earlier this week has sadly died.
The collision took place at 12.20pm on Tuesday (20 September) in a car park in Woollards Lane, Great Shelford.
Police and paramedics attended and the pedestrian, 71, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, in a critical condition.
The woman, who can now be named as Evelyn Wiseman, of Mill Lane, Wendens Ambo, Saffron Walden, passed away the following day (21 September).
The driver of the car, a red Citroen C1, continues to assist officers with their enquiries.
