A man is due to appear in court today (Thursday) in connection with the theft of a bicycle in central Peterborough.
The 26-year-old from Peterborough was arrested in Broadway in the early hours of yesterday morning (Wednesday) after CCTV operators alerted us to a suspected bike theft in progress.
He has been charged with theft of a bicycle and has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today.
