Peterborough man charged with drug and firearm offences

A man has been charged with drug and firearm offences in Peterborough.

The 26-year-old from Peterborough was arrested in London Road on Monday afternoon (23 May).

In the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 25 May) he was charged with seven offences:

• Possession of criminal property, namely cash – 23 May
• Two counts of possession of a firearm, namely a shotgun, with intent to cause fear of violence – 21 and 22 May
• Possession of a fraudulent document, namely a driving licence – 23 May
• Possession with intent to supply cocaine – 23 May
• Possession with intent to supply cannabis – 23 May
• Assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH) – 21 May

He appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today where he was remanded in prison to appear in court again on 23 June.
