A prolific Cambridge shoplifter has been given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order.
Scott Reynolds, 35, of Walnut Tree Avenue, Cambridge, was handed the Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today (18 May).
The CBO prevents him from entering any Co-Operative store in Cambridge within the boundary of the M11, A11, A505 and A14.
It also prevents him concealing any item in any shop within the boundary of the M11, A11, A414 and A505.
Reynolds is currently serving a 22 week prison sentence after pleading guilty to criminal damage, two counts of theft from a shop and two counts of assault by beating an emergency worker at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on 8 April.
PC Leigh Browne, from the Cambridge neighbourhood policing team, said: “Reynolds is a prolific shoplifter. We hope this order will provide some respite to businesses in the city and beyond. Any breaches of this CBO will be dealt with robustly.”
