Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was injured in a fail to stop collision.
Emergency services were called to the A1198 at the junction with the A505 in Bassingbourn at about 10.50pm on 3 June (Friday) with reports of a collision involving a black Honda motorbike and a silver hatchback.
The motorcyclist, a 39-year-old man, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
The driver of the hatchback left the scene in the direction of Royston.
PC Andrew Bowles, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this collision or saw the silver hatchback in the moments before or after the collision. Also, any residents, businesses or drivers who may have CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or contact the online webchat service quoting reference 522 of 3 June.
