Police are appealing for information after a collision on the A1307 yesterday (1 December) left two women with serious injuries.
At about 7.20pm a black Kia Sedona and a grey Fiat Ducato were involved in the collision near Stapleford.
The driver of the Kia, a woman in her 60s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries.
A woman in her 80s, who was a passenger in the Kia, was also taken to the hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Fiat, a man in his 40s, received minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, believes they saw the vehicles in the build up to it, or has relevant dashcam footage, should contact police. This can be done by visiting the reporting section of this website or calling 101 quoting incident 424 of 1 December.
