Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage after a burglary at a building site in Godmanchester.
At about 11.30pm on Monday (12 December), two men were seen to break into the Seagate Homes building site in Doherty Road and steal two generators, a ladder, a small amount of diesel, a drill, forklift keys and container padlocks.
A Mercedes pickup van was seen to leave the scene with a fuel bowser and was located by police in Brudenell but the men ran off.
PC Chris Hobson said: “I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with CCTV footage to come forward with any information.
“As well as anything before the burglary, I would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen men hiding in a car port in Gumcester Way and then in Tanner Drive.”
Anyone with information or CCTV footage should report it on the force website with reference 35/90366/22. Anyone without internet access should call 101.
