Appeal following fatal collision in Cambridge city

A man has died following a collision in Cambridge yesterday (25 March).

At about 4.30pm, a cyclist, a man in his 80s, was involved in a collision with a white van on the Newmarket Road roundabout with Barnwell Road.

Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge, where he died today (26 March).

The driver of the van remained at the scene and was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is asked to call 101 quoting incident 287 of 25 March. Alternatively, you can report online at www.cambs.police.uk/report.
