Three charged following violence in Dogsthorpe

A man and two teenage boys have been charged in connection with violence in Dogsthorpe on Thursday morning (21 May).

We were called to Welland Road at 10.35am following reports that a number of people had been assaulted and weapons had been used.

A 14-year-old boy, a 35-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were injured and required hospital treatment.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), affray and possession of a knife in a public place.

Another 14-year-old boy has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, affray, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place – namely a claw hammer, and possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

A 33-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, affray, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place – namely a baton, and possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

They have all been remanded in custody to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday 23 May).
