Man charged with Peterborough burglary

A man who is currently living in Leicester has been charged with fraud and burglary in Peterborough.

The 24-year-old was arrested in Leicester yesterday afternoon (Monday 7 September) in connection with the theft of bank cards following a burglary in Clarence Road, Millfield, on 26 June this year.

This afternoon (Tuesday 8 September), he was charged with burglary and two counts of fraud by false representation, namely using stolen bank cards to withdraw £580 cash.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Wednesday 9 September).
