Corporate Plan

Our Corporate Plan explains how we aim to achieve the objectives and expectations set out in the Police and Crime Plan.

The Corporate plan is developed by senior managers within the force.

It's determined from an understanding of current risks in key business areas and the decisions of the force strategic tasking and co-ordination group to ensure the objectives can be achieved. National, regional and local priorities are considered as well as the Policing Vision 2025.

Each part of the plan has a chief officer lead and a strategic lead who are held accountable through the Force Executive Board, chaired by our Chief Constable.

To minimise bureaucracy and ensure the plans actions are achieved, local governance mechanisms are used to track progression frequently.

The delivery plan also highlights how the objectives will help the force achieve its mission of;

  • Safeguarding the vulnerable
  • Combating acquisitive crime
  • Reducing harm to communities
  • Tackling serious and organised crime
  • Increasing public satisfaction 

Force Executive Board 

The Force Executive Board meet monthly and are responsible for ensuring the vision, values and strategic aims of the constabulary are maintained, supported and effective.
