I write in connection with your request for information received on 2nd August. I note you seek access to the following information:
The number of reports of the “offence of having article with blade or point on school premises” where the suspect was under 18.
Please provide figures for the 2018/19 academic year (1 September to 31 July), broken down by age of suspect and local authority area.

Response
Cambridgeshire Constabulary have conducted a search of our crime recording system and the data provided is based on the date the crime was created on the system where the offence is: “Having an article with a blade or point on school premises” and the suspect’s age is 17 or under or incomplete.
