REQUEST UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 Ref No: FOI2019/03073

I write in connection with your request for information received on 9th May. I note you seek access to the following information:

How many road fatalities did police forensic collision investigators (or an equivalent position) from your police force investigate in 2018, 2017 and 2016? Of the fatalities investigated, how many were wearing a seat belt? How many were not wearing a seat belt? In how many cases was seat belt status not known?

I am required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) to handle all requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any information released in response to a request is regarded as being published and therefore, in the public domain without caveat.
