REQUEST UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 Ref No: FOI2019/03879
I write in connection with your request for information received on 14th June. I note you seek access to the following information:
1) The number of arrests related to cocaine for 2017/18 (April 17 - March 18) and 2018/19 (April 18 - March 19)
2) The number of arrests over the same time period broken down by offence e.g. supply a controlled drug of Class A, possession of a Class A drug etc
3) The number of arrests over the same time period broken down by neighbourhood area
I am required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) to handle all requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any information released in response to a request is regarded as being published and therefore, in the public domain without caveat.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary has conducted as search within our Custody system for the information requested. We are unable to provide the arrest by neighbourhood therefore we have provided it by custody facility.
